What's the best multi-purpose suit color?

I was thinking a navy pinstripe or a dark grey/charcoal. What do you guys think?

Charcoal comes to mind first for me. Pinstripes have always seemed a bit more businesslike in my opinion.

I just bought a pin stripe charcoal suit and a black suit. Those seemed like the most professional, appropriate, and conservative looking suits.

Charcoal all the way. I have a black and black w/ pinstripes and have never worn either. Charcoal is worn for weddings, funerals, interviews, parties, etc. I love it!

charcoal here, it's the only suit i have so it's the only one i wear

Navy blue, I would stay away from pin striping. It in now but solids are always in.
