What's the best MP3 id3/tagging software ?

I need something to rename a lot of my files..

preferably somehting that checks the CDDB when naming full albums.

Tag and Rename does all that.
- Rename ID3v1 or ID3v2 tags using regular expressions based on the filename or group naming.
- Rename the filename based on the tags.
- CDDB access.

Does cost money, $25 I think after the 30 day trial period is up. Well worth it in my opinion.

Tag & Rename is excellent!! It's so great that it can get the album info from freedb by selecting the songs from that album in order.

One thing I noticed, if you want to rename a field such as Artist or Album Name, you have to type it in, you can't edit the tag that already exists.

It's small and fantastic. Even lets you change the icons associated with mp3s to show the bitrate in the icon.
