What's the best mouse out right now

halik

I'm looking to upgrade my main mouse now that my old mx1000 needs to be recharged every couple of days... any suggestions?

I had the logitech mx revolution at work and liked that quite a bit... is that the pinnacle of the mouse technology at the moment, or should I be checking out something even better?

edit: it should work in osx also

I'm going to give a big  to the MX Revolution. It's my daily mouse.

Hmm while I'm here and on a somewhat related note, hope you don't mind Halik. Can anyone recommend a good wireless keyboard that would be compatible with my revolutions USB receiver?

what about the mx1100? it doesnt have rechargeable batteries, but i've always heard bad things about the logitech charging base.

I still use a logitech mx 510, but if this mouse ever dies the revolution does look/feel nice.

When my MX518 dies (Heaven forbid), I'm going to get the G5 or G7.. or whatever Logitech's latest wired mouse is when it comes time.

This is the one I am considering as well. I was holding it today at OfficeMax and it feels nice. If I had to buy a wireless mouse to replace my MX518, this would be the one.

Isn't the fact that is uses AA batteries as opposed to some custom internal battery an advantage? At least when rechargeable AA batteries wear out, buying new ones is cheaper than buying a new mouse in the case where the internal battery wears out.

I have a VX Nano, G5, and Lachesis. If you're into gaming, get the G5. If this is for office work, neffing, et cetera, get the MX Revolution (VX Nano's very big brother). Forget the Lachesis.

I have a few G5's...I had the oldschool rust one, now a blue one. Also got a free Gigabyte something or other with a mobo, it's halfway decent.

Razer "DeathAdder" here, very nice mouse, highly recommend it. A bit light, but looks and feels great.

This. Best mouse i've ever used.

I like my microsoft comfort optical mouse 3000 a lot better than my mx revolution. Maybe it's something to do with being wired, but I like the feel of it in FPSs.
