That really depends..... I prefer the IntelliMouse Explorer. But for some people this mouse seems a bit too bulky.

I have a Kensington Mouse-In-A-Box Optical Pro, and big hands. Works nicely, 4 buttons, USB, I'd reccommend it.

i would look into either the logitech mx500 or mx700.. the mx500 is the exact same as the mx700 but it is the corded version...

this mouse is really precise and doesn't skip a beat at all.. even the mx700 has virtually no lag when playing games... they also have a lot of customizable buttons that are very useful for binding extra keys on th mouse... the ergonoics are very sweet too.. you say that you have large hands, so it should be very comfortable for you.. i have medium sized hands and it fits me pretty well...

if price is an issue or you want a more traditional style mouse, then i would look into the mx300.. its optical technology performs the same as the upper models except that it doesn't have as much buttons as the others..

one thing to keep in mind, make sure that you go to your local computer store and try all the mouses out..see which one is more comfortable for you.. everybody has a different preference so it will fit you differently.. just find the one that is most comfortable to you ;)

my logitech cordless optical works great, but it may not be for everyone... some people don;t like cordless for games. some don't like the whole battery issue... i have no problem actually and i use it my ratpad gs.. quite nice...

I too, like the MS Intellimouse Explorer (NOT the wireless one). The shape of this thing fits my hand VERY comforably. After hours of fraggin (literally), my hand is not tired at all. I compared with the logitech mouse, but the logitech just wasn't comfortable for me. You gotta compare...if it ain't comfortable from the get go, it ain't gonna be later either! Get what works for YOU.

Mice? I prefer hamsters, know why? Because they have hair and play the game where you put cheese in a maze better than those mice... I hate those mice, so yes hamsters are better for games
