I need to know what the best motherboards are for rdram, ddr ram, or dual channel ddr? ddr400?

The main requirement is onboard sound (digital if avail)... the next goody but not must is onboard LAN

Will probably be using a P4 2.4 ghz and overclocking it (of course) along with 512 mb of whichever ram I decide on and pairing it with a 9500 128mb (hopefully converted to 9700 soon). I know all the basic necesities for the motherboards and stuff and all the different things that are good but I haven't been staying up to date on which specific motherboards are good.

Try to maintain a more performance oriented mobo than value please.

Thanks for all the help!

If you couldn't find it in a search on here, you're just going to get more confused. I'll vote ASUS P4PE.

Well Granite Bay would be a good choice although availability seems slim.
Otherwise the 845PE chipset is good if a bit slower than Granite Bay...but it does come significantly cheaper for only marginally less performance.
