Bought this last summer. Quiet and fast with a quality build (and worth every penny). I take customer reviews with a grain of salt, but if you can get closed to 900 of them with a 4.5 star average I tend to believe it.

Bought this one last week and just used it over the weekend. Worked great and feels a hell of a lot more solid than the cheap ones I've previously gotten at O'Reilly's, Autozone, etc.

I have a cheaper Craftman model which has been okay but I'm looking for a new one that plugs into 120 rather than the cigarette lighter.

What I linked to has both lighter and A/C connections

Most Viair compressors are excellent. Especially if you go heavy-duty. We've abused the hell out of about 15 of them and never had a failure, even running them non-stop for 2-3 hours. Of course, we had to put a couple fans on them.

Bought one of these 5+ years ago, maybe longer, and it's still working away, despite it being hauled up and down the east coast a few times, generally getting ignored except when I need to use it. Have used it for tires, blow gun for dusting, and the occasional nail gun (finish nails). Got it on a Black Friday weekend sale for $30. It certainly is a cheap compressor, but so far, no complaints about it.
