I prefer Corsair memory...seems to be most compatible across multiable systems in my experience...but picking one from your choices I would go for the Mushkin memory. I have seen Mushkin memory mention in several online reviews in overclock systems.

No. The OCZ and Mushkin use Powerchips and don't run very warm (they typically max out at 2.0v). I would suggest the Mushkin highly as it will do 1120-1150 MHz. They also have great customer service. You can find user experiences with Mushkin here: http://forums.mushkin.com/phpb...854e154fcac0c3fcbf0b15

I have the reaper in the ddr2-800 flavor. It works great, but I haven't really tried to push it (currently at 4-4-4-12 @ stock speeds)... nor do I intend to. The ram runs very cool... but I highly doubt the heat pipe is responsible for that (it probably helps a bit... but not anything huge). Honestly, the heat pipes can get in the way if you have a large cpu cooler.... adding an extra 3/4 of an inch to your ram just makes things clumsy in the case :/

That being said, after rebate and a combo deal from newegg, I paid $30 for 4 gb of pretty nice ddr2... I'm very happy with the OCZ and would buy it again. In reality, all the big names make pretty damn good products.... I tend to just buy whatever ram has the best price at the time (given a certain baseline performance that I am looking for). Mushkin has always been a pretty good brand. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

umm i kinda want it more than need it

you see i have reached the limit with my ram rather quickly just around 900MHz but i did manage to get the e8400 stable at 4.0GHz

now i was going to try and push it but the ram is the issue here. you think not to bother with it and stay where im at ? i need to go from 2GB to 4GB no matter what so that i am sure
