What's the best image editing software for my needs?

I want to start working on my Mariah Carey website since I got a new computer. I used Jasc's Paint Shop Pro to make my graphics previously, so I'm familiar w/ it. But, I know that Photoshop is a better professional all around program, and I'd probably get better results from it, but, I am not familiar w/ it. Price isn't an issue, so don't worry about that Thanks!

Photoshop is very easy to pick up. My imagination is the best editor though.

If price isn't an issue buy Photoshop and a book to teach you how to use it. I use PS for everything.

Go for photoshop.. the learning curve is high, but there is a real professionals use it
