whats the best grafic pad?

Wacom sells a wireless setup that include a 4"x5" pad, a stylus w/eraser and a scroll mouse in your choice of colors that goes for about $100. I've heard nothing but good things about these pads. You might be able to find one of their older models around for cheaper.
WACOM graphics tablet

I've never used one, but from what I've heard from my friend that is an arts major, Wacom are the best. When I used to work at CompUSA(bleh) we had some other tablets that were like half the prices, and I think I saw almost everyone sold come back the next day. Wacom also has if I recall correctly an 8"x10" version of the tablets.

I used to admin some AutoCad R12 and R13 machines, and the only tablets the users would touch were Wacom. We tried some others, but then the users just resorted to the mouse. Seems that they're the only way to go.

We use the Wacom 10x12's at work. Comes with a nice cordless mouse and pen. I love it. ADobe Illustrator is so much easier to use with a pressure sensitive pen. I'm buying one for home soon.
