What's the best gaming mouse out there?

I know you've already narrowed it down, but in my opinion, a cordless mouse works wonders. Until now, you couldn't have a (decent) mouse that had the best of both worlds: cordless and optical. Well, in my experience, the MS wireless intellimouse explorer fits the bill. It actually came out before the Logitech Dual optical, so it might (key word: might) have less of an advantage in the opt. department. However, compared to the cordless mouseman optical, this beats it hands down. While the Mouseman beats the Explorer in DPI (800 to 400), the Explorer takes more "pictures" per second (6000 to 2000). The pictures are more important. As you've seen, the Mouseman can't keep up in games, due to it being slow to track. Why, look! The Wireless Explorer is four times faster! If you don't want a cordless mouse, go with the dual optical.

Ok, I've narrowed down to these 2 choices:

- Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical Mouse
- Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer Mouse 3.0 - Multilingual

Both cost $79.99 CAD at my local FutureShop store here in Toronto.
I hope I'll hear a little more comments on these 2 mice before I head down to the store 🙂.

those would be my choices for a gaming mouse. for games i'd probably choose the logitech. i went with the microsoft cuz i just like it better. using it right now and hasn't failed me yet in JK2 or Warcraft 3. both amazing games too.
