whats the best free website host right now?

I just signed for an account with hostpc.com, based on recommendations here, and in the Hot Deals.

They got a special running, 100 MB space, 1 GB/mo, 8.99/yr.

Edit: dunno if that's better than what Geocities is giving you, but they have other plans for a bit more, with much more storage/bandwidth.

I see the free Geocities account gives 3 GB/mo bandwidth and 15 MB of storage. Although the 3 GB/mo is metered hourly which means:

Assuming they use 1000 MB/GB, and an average of 30 days/mo, you have 3000 MB / 720 hours = 4.167 MB / hr.

So if the bandwidth in any given hour goes over that, WHAM. No more til the next hour.

Edit: I know you said free, but 8.99/yr is almost free. And I can't read. 🙂
