whats the best free fax software

I just had to reformat the computer at work (that I built) and reinstall everything. I was running winfax on it before, but we were having a bit of trouble getting fax's to go out! (actually they WOULDN'T) I tried DialTone today (the software that came with the fax modem) but I could get it to auto receive fax's. I set us up with distinctive ring, and it's on the same line as our DSL. I have it wired with the phone line going into the DSL modem, then the phone out to the Fax modem. (Maybe that?s the trouble?) At any rate, what kind of fax software are other people out there having good luck with?

Microsoft Fax...simple and does what I want it to do....
