You get nef answers because you posted a nef-like OP. Why not take the time to include at least an ounce of information?

Why do you want a credit report? Did a credit card get stolen? Had you been making late payments and now want to clean up your credit? Did you see a "free credit report" commercial on tv and wanted to know if it was legit?

Like otheres have said, as of 9/1/05 annualcreditreport offers a free credit report from the 3 main credit agencies once a year.

Also, if you are ever declined credit, you are entitled to a free report.

i thought the question was pretty straightforward myself.

and of course this was posted back in june.

really my replying now in december is about as useless as your post in september replying to a june thread.
