Im looking to get a flat screen, and I don't want to get a lemon like the moniter Im using now. Anyone have a brand that has never given them any problems? Im not worried about size or price just yet, just a name to look for.

<<Eizo is the best.
Sony.. by far the highest quality flat screen displays.
Mitsubishi takes first.
Samsung 900NF>>

Far, far away from it, all of them. Everybody's just going to shout out whatever he/she owns, or whatever he/she believes to be the best, whats the point? Who can actually provide some proof here?

Its nearly impossible to answer you question without knowing what you're looking for, are you looking for high resolutions, small dot pitch, color saturation, high convergence, or whatever?

I got a Philips 109P20 Brilliance, it uses a DiamondTron tube and I'm quite happy with it. Be sure you have a decent video card. I had a GF2 Ultra (Hercules) and it was unusable for any resolutions beyond 1024x768. Still looking for a replacement, in the mean time, it works great with a G400Max.

It's also a bit expensive in here Belgium...
