What's the best filesharing program?

Why not just use kazaa? What is the point of morpheus' existence? Seems pretty pointless to me. Oh well, whatever. Kazaa is EXACTLY the same, therefore easy to use as well.

Direct Connect is by far the best file sharing app there is. The stuff you need is always there (movies, adobe software, mp3s, music videos, p0rn) and its reasonably fast(10-100K/s depending on the user).

I also have KaZaA, but that thing has very few files compared to DC. I can't even find ONE movie on it.

of course, napster, imesh and gnutella suck (we'll have to see how the new gnutella protocol does)

Is it just me, or does Morpheus use up like all of your system resources ? After it is open for a while and I've downloaded a bunch of stuff, my system starts running like trash. Maybe it is just b/c of Win 98.

ya morph rapes my comp system resources (i'm on win 98 as well with 256 megs of ram to boot) and i've noticed that after a while snood can take it's toll on your comp too..............

256MB ram and Win2K here, Kazaa or morpheus have never done anything to my comp, nice and fast and stays that way. I usually keep iMesh and Kazaa open alongw ith all my other crap like instant messenging software open at all times when the computer is on.

Yea, i use morpheus like the otherz...it's good, you can find lotz of stuff, not only music....

I used to use Bearshare but most of the time it won't let me d/l stuff..
