what's the best excuse to give why you quit your previous job during interview?

I am stark with this question during job interviews. The real answer is my previous company don't pay me enough, always work over time, and no benefit. But if I tell the truth, it shows interviewer bad impression and i don't get the job. So what you guys say during an interview for that question? ^)^

There was no more room for me to advance (i.e. - not saying the pay sucked), and I was not challenged by the work. I was looking for something that would let me expand my job functions and knowledge of my field.

they've got this stupid policy there about coming in "under the influence"....

apparently they say that type of action is "frowned upon"

(note: I do the quote thingie with my fingers to communicate the quotes)
