powerdvd, looks great and runs perfectly. also it has pretty good cpu utilization... ~30% on my athlon 700.

DMA allows the data to bypass the cpu making it stream faster and use less cpu power. You should enable it if you can. It stands for Direct Memmory Access.

If you choose WinDVD, I recommend DVDGenie for advanced options lacking in WinDVD.
