Whats The BEST DVD Media for Burning DVDs that WORK :) in standalone DVD Players ??

quick question, what seems from everyone's experience to be the best media to use to burn dvds that will work in you regular standalone dvd player's ? is it +r or -r ? does the manufacturer make a difference as well ? thanks in advance for your help :)

No offense, but this question gets asked a few times a week.

Use the search function to find a hundred other threads asking the same thing.

In a nutshell: -Rs are a tad more compatible than +Rs, but it's really a minor difference.
Better brand media = longer media life, so avoid no-name brands.
However, even big brand name companies like Memorex, for example, get their DVD Rs from various different sources, so researching at CDFreaks.com is a good idea if you really want to get the best media quality.
