Is there a way to tell this? Is there a website where I can enter my information and it'll tell me which ISPs are the closest? Any input? Thanks!

So far (4 years) me and atleast 5 friends of myne have had great results with Pacbell DSL, personaly in the last 4 years ive had to call them about 3 times total 2 of which were big outages around the bay area anyways.
 
i have yahoo/sbc dsl...download is OKAY, not as good as the COX i have at irvine

the upload sucks compared to cox....15kb/s vs 30kb/s
 
other than the transition from @home to AT&T.. and now to comcast, it has been pretty smooth sailing. only negative so far.. ive had to change for the 3rd time (luckily comcast is forwarding attbi email till 2004) .

i get about ~1.7Mbps download / 230Kbps upload doing the speed tests on dslr.
