I usually use the nvidia reference drivers. I used to use all the fancy beta drivers, back when I had a GF3 Ti200 and a GF1DDR, but it just wasn't worth the hassle of installing and reinstalling drivers to find one that worked with everything I needed it to.
I actually scored significantly higher on 3DMark03 using the 66.20 drivers (over 1500 higher). I found them at guru3d.com. They seemed stable when I used them, but I went with the 61.77 drivers when I refomatted a few weeks ago. They've been 100% stable.
Just got my Leadtek 6800 gt today (well really yesterday Eastern Time, .....sleepy.......had to clean the and upgrade the puter), anyways, any new advice or updates on this topic out there?
I use the beta 66.32 drivers. They work great and are very fast.
Beware though if you have an AMD 64, service pack 2 and play UT 2004. It will crash your system if you have Data Execution Prevention (DEP) enabled.
