Whichever lineage birds came from. Since birds are still around, they're clearly descendant from the best of dinosaurs. I put Pterodactyl but I'm doubtful birds descended from that dinosaur in particular.

Yes, I was completely ignorant in my vote for Pterodactyl. I sincerely apologize for not coming up with the Quetzalcoatlus - it didn't even cross my mind!

Somebody needs to chill out...

Bee-tee-dubs, jackassarooni, most people are actually referring to Quetzalcoatlus or Pteranodon when they say Pterodactyl...you know, large, winged, flying reptiles. Actual Pterodactyls were very smallish comparison. None were actually dinosaurs.

I always thought this one looked more terrifying than any other marine dino.

While I enjoy your entertainment, my vote stands. However I do appreciate the quick lesson on the Quetzalcoatlus - I must have been asleep during that part of 4th grade science class.

"Is" should be changed to "was" as the dinosaurs died out millions of years ago. As for their (surviving) ancestors ... my favorite is the Carolina anole. I have hundreds living around the house and they are hilarious little dinosaurs ...

Of the choices given, Triceratops.
But really, Ankylosaurus.

Apparently, my opinion is far from unique.
