A year I got an Olympus 4 megapixel camera that was $499 for $99..the store was selling them for $199 and I told the Manager that I didnt want to pay that, he gave it to me for $99 ...opps I thought it was Hot Deals
It would then be a Logitech 866 remote for $100 then on the FS/T site
It was a 9800 pro that i picked up 2 years ago for 85 dollars shipped. It worked when it got to my place then i left it in a drawer for 6 months and when i used it again i couldn't get it to work
I remember I scored an awesome dual core gaming rig with a 3800X2, SLI board, 1gb of ram, dual 6600GT's, 2 74gb raptors, X-Fi, and 19" Viewsonic for $1000 shipped in March.
A sony Camera that was supposed to be broken for $20 I was going to try to fix. Showed up in perfect working condition, resold it on ebay for over $200.
I really don't look there for deals. It's like a CL with feedback...everyone wants MSRP if you're buying, and enough lowballs to drive you crazy if you're selling.
Because storing any kind of data on a used harddrive is a crapshoot. Even if it's covered under warranty, which it may not be depending on where it was originally procured, it's still a hassle to make a claim.
Best of luck, and as others have said, FS/T is generally not a place to get deals, it's generally where those who did try to sell at MSRP while not paying ebay fees. That said, nothing against it, just nothing special about the pricing.
