What's the best contiguous backup software for Xp?

I need a contiguous backup application. I have symantec backup exec 05 but it won't install without domain administrator privileges and i haven't been able to figure out how to enable it.

What are some other options?

DVD, External Drive, Tape, Network share etc?

Backing up to another hard drive. Contiguous as in an app that runs in the background and is constantly making backups.

You want "continuous" backups, or some kind of realtime replication solution.

True continuity generally requires specialized hardware or at least something at the driver level (so you're basically doing something like a software RAID1 but for specific files). If you just want really frequent backups -- can you set up the builtin Windows backup to do a differential backup every five minutes or something?
