Whats the best Computer animation software?

I have heard that Animation master is good. What re some others you guys know of? Not wanting to do anything big just wanting to play with it a little bit.
 
So it's mainly a hobby type thing? If so then Animation Master will do. I use 3DStudioMax but I don't really dwelve into the animation part of it(I'm mainly a modeler). But from the time I have used it, it has pretty good tools for it.
