By commercial I meant pretty much available round the country.
Sadly the best I have found in Vermont is Cabot which is not my favorite mozzarella. Great cheddar though.
In 2011, the Vermont Attorney General's office alleged that some Cabot products made in 2009 and 2010 could not be certified as free of rBST, a hormone that helps cows produce more milk. Cabot settled with the state, agreeing not to make such representations, to pay a $65,000 fine, and to donate $75,000 worth of dairy products to local food banks.[16]
Not sure if it's available nationwide but I tend to like Belgioso for making caprese.

How much does mozzarella go for in the states? I never used to buy it but here in Italy I've been getting it pretty much every time I go to the market and it runs about 3 euro per 250 grams. Kinda expensive.
