The guy asked for Southern CA, so Stanford and Berkeley don't count :)

The best university or college for anything is the one with the best overall reputation (in my opinion).

What's your definition of good? Most people here have extremely low definitions for even the word "decent"

Well, I just need to get my masters in both adminstration and management. Someday I have to take over my parent's bussiness. If it all counts the same and it shows me all the ropes. It won't really matter that much.

first its not where you go to school, but what you learn from school and how much of it can you apply in real life and how much can you invent.

Pepperdine's gracidia's (sp?) school of business is highly rated. So is UCLA school of business (or was it law?).

As for getting into schools, you got to apply ahead of time, have the GPA requirement and be good in all. What JC are you going to,whatever it is, try if you can get into the honor roll program (scholars or whatever its called) meaning you will get an advanced priority admission to the UC's and CSU's.

I suggest going to a good JC.. might I suggest my old school, Glendale Community College. Pasadena City College & Santa Monica College is good too. You want to go to a good JC not some place like LAValley, or East LA CC or LACC .. LACC isnt bad, but I think Glendale is better.

Whittier College (about 20 minutes from Downtown LA) offers a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. I concentrated on finance over there, class of 2002.

Probably one of the best, if not the best, professors I had was my Management Strategy and Policy professor, Jeff Decker. He also teaches at Claremont Drucker school of business and BIOLA. I think he is still there.

It's also the alma mater of Richard Nixon :) and George Allen (I think).
