What's the best, cheapest HSF for XP 1600+?

I'm presenting an optional proposal to a friend for a very cheap pc.
I've been checking both newegg and svc.com for candidates.

At the cheap end, all prices shipped,

SVC has the GC68 with 80mm fan. < $10

Newegg has the following:
COOLER MASTER DP5-6I11A w/ 60mm x 13mm $10
Thermaltake VOLCANO 5 w/ what looks like a 60mm fan. $11.50
Speeze 5F263B1M3 w/ 80×80×25mm fan. $13

If they'll all do the job for a non-oc'd system, which might be the quietest?

If you have your own favorite, what would that be?

I have several of the GC-68's and they work just fine. They aren't real loud either, and you could always put a panaflo L1A on it if you want to. I left the stock fans on all of mine.

Same here, I've used the GC68 for as high as an XP2000 just fine.

GC68. 80mm fan will be significantly quieter than the 60s (going by past experience with Coolermasters, etc). Don't have the Speeze, but it looks alot like (?identical to) the GC68.

GC 69 which is 5 bucks more

it is pretty good in cooling my 2600. haven't getting into overclock yet since memory are barely running at the processor stock speed of 166 FSB.

I can see the two, GC68, GC69 side-by-side at the SVC website and the only obvious difference is the mounting clip. The 68 has a 1 hole clip, which I didn't care for whereas the 69 has a 3 hole clip. Don't know how the fans differ.

gunblade, do you own both models?
If so, what other observations can you make?

Thanks.

From svc.com:

The GC69 has one of the best price/performance ratios on the market and features the same 80mm construction that made the GC68 so quiet. The fan has the exact same specifications, namely 32.5CFM and 28.3dB(A). The heatsink is updated to realize better flow characteristics. It also has more material and denser fins for increased thermal stability and heat dissipation. Overall performance is increased over the GC68 without increasing noise. The heatink is slightly wider at the base so in tight installations, you may prefer to use the GC68, which for now we will continue to sell. The fan is a clear crystal blue color instead of the plain black used on the GC68. The same one ball, one sleeve construction is used for a life span between 40,000 and 50,000 hours.
