EAC + FLAC is my current choice.

I've previously used EAC + LAME, & EAC + Nero's AAC plugin.

All three produce excellent results, but FLAC is lossless.

EAC + LAME if you MUST have MP3s....but you really shouldn't. Seriously, if you've heard Nightwish or any other serious rock group in MP3 (even 320kbps) vs FLAC....no comparison. No comparison at ALL. Anything with cymbals. MP3 compresses them HORRIBLY.

(If you want to hear comparisons - do a Google on "MP3 FLAC cymbals". Although a lot of other instruments show it - horns, violins, etc - cymbals really are the worst in MP3 format.)

EAC secure mode + MAREO + (LAME|Ogg Vorbis|FLAC|MPC|ALAC|etc.)
...

You get the idea. Spend time reading about EAC and configuring it, too...it can be made very easy (as easy as Audiograbber), but is not configured that way immediately.
