A lot of people ask what are the quietest case fans but I don't care about that. I want the best case fans that are going to help keep the system the coolest possible. I just got an Antec Super LANBOY case and I'm planning on cutting out two holes from the side window for a couple fans.

1) What size fan is best generally for side intake fans? 80mm?
2) What is the best fan I can get for that particular size?

Remember I don't care about how super quiet it is. I want my system to run as cool as possible so I'm looking for the best fan recommendations. Also for a bonus question:

3) What's the best tool to use to cut the holes out of the clear side panel of the case? Jigsaw? I do not have a dremel nor do I know anyone that could loan me one.

Panaflo all the way. 1) really up to the user but I like 120mm 2) Panaflo. Dremel is best, but a door knob drill bit will work if you can find the right dimensions. Probably will have to use an 80mm for the side fan with this bit as I do not think they make 120mm sized door knob bits. Just make sure the teeth on the bit are as small as possible.

Hmm I just took the case out of the box and now I think two 120mm fans might be too big for this mini ATX tower case. Maybe I'd be better off just using two 80mm fans instead. I guess I have two options. Either cut one 120mm hole or cut two 80mm holes. Think it's worth making two 80mm holes or do you think that one 120mm will suffice?

2x80mmx80mm = 12,800mm^2
120mmx120mm = 14,400mm^2

1x120mm is the way to go. Less noise/vibration, more airflow, longer lifespan, less hassle.

And I'd still consider noise to an extent if you're going to spend a lot of time near the comp. Those 200cfm+ fans can be really annoyingly loud.
