The Italian Stallion. Of course I've never watched Raging Bull or Million Dollar Baby so my opinion might be skewed slightly.

Raging Bull I guess. I like all three quite a lot. Don't like rocky 2+ though.

Dang, tough choice. Million Dollar Baby is fantastic, but Rocky's a frickin' classic. Balboa on the streets of Philadelphia while "Gonna Fly Now" plays in the background is an iconic moment in film history.

Night and the City wasn't too bad but it didn't have much boxing in it. Pretty cool I used to frequent the bar a lot of it was filmed in, though (Boxer's in Manhattan)

"Ah come on, Adrian, it's true. I was nobody. But that don't matter either, you know? 'Cause I was thinkin', it really don't matter if I lose this fight. It really don't matter if this guy opens my head, either. 'Cause all I wanna do is go the distance. Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance, you see, and that bell rings and I'm still standin', I'm gonna know for the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood."

Rocky by far ;)

I loved rocky 1-4. But why..WHY, did you have to ruin the series with the 5th one!!?

We've got another coming this summer with Russell Crowe called "Cinderela Man".

Of those listed, "Million Dollar Baby" is my fave.

LaMotta was a clever boxer who executed the nuances of the game with fine precision. While he was able to absorb punches with little problem, he was also adept at rolling with punches to minimize the damage. He liked to play possum in the ring, lulling opponents into a false sense of confidence before unleashing his own attack. And, perhaps above all, he had a tremendous will to win. His aggressive, unrelenting style, earned him the nickname, "The Bronx Bull."

LaMotta fought through 1952, was inactive in 1953 and retired after three fights in 1954.

His fame was resurrected in 1981, when Robert DeNiro portrayed him in the Adacemy Award-winning film, "Raging Bull."
