Looking for a new set up possibly right now
gona keep just the 8800gts512 for now and replace everything else it looks like

Umm sli/crossfire not important, raid is not used now, but maybe will be in the future, just need to be able to OC e8400 (or other possible chips) with 4GB of 1066MHz ram

and play games to the max of course...other than that -- umm i use vista 64bit with a 22" lcd

Basically these 3 motherboards are my choices cause i like gigabyte and besides that nice heatpipe on the two hundred dollar MB, i cant see the difference between it and the one hundred dollar MB, and there is no way im paying 100 extra dollars for a useless heatpipe

Help me out guys ... thanks

EP45-DS3R has that EP45-DS3L doesn't

RAID
IEEE 1394a Firewire
Dual PCI-E
Dual Lan
Ultra Durable 2 (better components) vs Ultra Durable
6-Phase power vs 4-Phase
TPM

I have DS3L and overclock my Q6600 with it. For overclocking thru FSB increases the DS3L is a little on the lacking side. Not sure if it is the fewer phases or the paltry passive NB heatsink.

Still though I get a stable 367MHz FSB out of mine. If that sounds good then I say go with the cheapest.

that new one is not available at canada computers yet and im buying stuff this weekend i think

alright so far it looks like the ds3r is a go, (medium price point) but no one mentioned the ds4p yet, guess that says a lot about its price vs value
