I like variety, the same thing everyday is NOT fun. I have my logon screens randomized (LogonLoader, a great program). I randomize my winamp skins. And I don't believe in using WindowsBlinds or the winxp skinning b/c it's too much of a performance hit... All I have tried is that blasted 'Websh@ts' and I think it is a piece of crap program. Any recommendations so I can 'enjoy' my wallpapers in peace???? :D

I use webshots, but I don't keep it open. If I ever feel like cycling it, I just open webshots and use the hotkeys to cycle through a few wallpapers.

I don't know of any "better" programs to do the job. Can't be very complicated to code. Get someone to write a program for you.

I would be intrested in this too, I like to put nice works of art for my wallpaper usually and would like to switch them around.

I know that the XP Plus Pack includes an option that will randomize your wallpaper and change it on any interval that you set - pretty much the only useful thing in all of the software.

I use this one at home (Win98SE, Win2K). It's pretty small. You can set it up so that it only loads on Windows startup, changes the wallpaper, and then close itself.
Limitation is that it can only rotate .bmp files from the Windows directory.
Give it a try. It's freeware.
