Last night my system started getting some serious errors, so I load up McAfee 4.5.. and Bang ! found more than 300 files infected by this "win32.fun.love" virus. And it really brough me to attention, cuz I dont load up virus programs normally knowing that I havent had any virus problems for a long time.
Even after I cleaned all the virus in my win98, but its a pain in the ass to fix virus in win2k (Im running two partitions) cuz you need to replace the infect files with original files. And I didnt have the win2k disc at the time.
So out of anger.. I just went and formatted my HD. After I did a clean install of WinME, somehow I can't run that McAfee startup scan feature...I was getting blue screen of death everytime I boot up. So I had to uninstall it, and now I'm running Norton AntiVirus 5.0
Just needed to know should I switch to any other antivirus programs for better protection? or Nortion 5.0 is good enough?? I feel norton 5.0 is not updated enough...since they had norton 2000, 2001.
