It's had to call 6-1/2" a "woofer" . . . more like a mid-bass speaker.

Anyway you have to match your speakers up so they have similar characteristics and the right x-overs. Hard to tell from specs or a pic.

Peerless.
I used to have some in my last system.

but...
I think it is worth it get the low end JL coaxils.
It is hard to beat that sound for the money.
You just won't achievethat level of sound unless you have some insane test equiptment and make your own passive crossovers.

Never heard of Peerless, but Audax and Vifa are decent speakers. But, give me Focal, Scan-Speak, Raven, or Bohlender-Graebener any day.

I 2nd that Vifa and Audax are very good drivers for the money, they should do just about anything you want them to, Polk uses Vifa drivers in their home audio speakers. Once you get into the Focal, Scan-Speak ect your getting pretty high-end so you had better know what you?re doing.

BTW, what do you plan on using it for?

It is easy to call them a woofer. Take a look at the B&W 803 mk IIs and you will see just how hard a 6.5 speaker can hit if the box is designed right.

I can hear the deep thump of my woofer in the other room right now as his flea scratching back leg repedly hits the floor.
