What's the best 4K display for about $400?

Then you are better off going with 1080p for that price but if you want the 4k then just buy whatever. there really isn't any difference in that price range.

No, there's a huge difference. Some don't support HDMI 2.0 or 4:4:4. One of the displays I linked has some weird pentile display and isn't true 4K. I just want to know these things before I buy.

The only Vizio TVs that support 4K @ 4:4:4 @ 60hz are the P-Series and they start at 50". Afaik no current tvs have Display Port. Panasonic had DP on their first line of 4K TVs but they dropped it for the current sets.

This link shows you why Chroma 4:4:4 may matter to you and has a table listing current sets that support it at various Hz. Its slightly out of date but the best I could find atm. Its not a list of every TV on the market but it covers a large portion of them. None of the sets in this list have DisplayPort.

Did some more digging:

Couldn't find anything definitive on this set but the models above and bellow are Chroma 4:2:0 so I assume this set is as well.

This Seiki is Chroma 4:2:2 and has some input lag. Whole thread here if you want to read it: http://www.overclock.net/t/1563005/seiki-se42um-thread
