Suggestions? Recommendation? Opinions?

This will be for a future AMD Athlon XP system with 4 hard drives and 2 cdrom drives in a full tower case

I have an enermax too, they are good but aren't cheap, guess you get what you pay for..

Follow the above link (It does work, I tested it) - I saw it mentioned @Virtual-Hideout, and the guy raved about it...

Price seems competitve too, with 520w costing $85, or a 470w for $75

Specifications: Model No: TTGI TT-500SS (520W). AC Input: 100~120Vac/200~240Vac, 10/6A, 60/50Hz. DC Output: +3.3V~28.0A, +5V~50A, +12V~20A. +5Vsb~3A, -5V~0.5A, -12V~0.8A). MAX OUTPUT POWER: 520W. Ten IDE connectors, two floppy connectors, +12V power connector, Aux power connector.

Features: +5V stand by 3A, the largest current in the market. Fully support all Intel & AMD series demand. Triple ball bearing fans, Long life and fastest cooling time. Noiseless fan designed, offer the most silent and coldest condition. High-quality gold-coated fan cover & connectors (Better conduction). (Tube-tide design), Tidy your wires. All DC output wires have 50CM (50mm) length.

Hope this helps as a second possibility...

I like PC Power & Cooling power supplies. Take a look at the Silencer 400 ATX.

They aren't cheap, and they don't have an intake fan over the CPU, but they're damn near indestructable and their Silencer model is extremely quiet.
