I agree. 9 out of 10 systems I build at work are 1700+ on ECS K7VMM+ or whatever it was. Best bang for your buck right now, probably. Personally, I think anything over 1GHz is plenty fast enough. WTF do you do that requires any more cpu power? The rest of the system needs upgrading more.
