What's the age gap between your two parents?

What if my parents are the same sex? Or what if I don't want to belittle my parents by assigning gender roles to them so I refer to both of them as just "parents"? How do I answer your poll then, hotshot?

My mom is 5 months older than my dad. My wife is 4 months older than me.

My dad is 7 years older than my mom. My sister is 7 years younger than her husband. It isn't so weird with my parents since they are both older now, but it is kindof strange when your sister is getting married at 19 to a 26 year old guy.

I'm not gonna argue that it seems socially more acceptable for an older guy to be with a younger woman than vice versa, but keep in mind that women have a shorter reproductive window than men. There's a shelf life on the female's eggs as it were. Old guy sperm can still get the job done.

Nothing wrong. You are confusing sexual prime with the prime age for bearing kids. By the time women hit their sexual prime, the chances of them conceiving and giving birth to a child without complications diminish drastically. While men keep on producing sperm and are capable of impregnating until they just can't get it up any more.

Hence older men look for younger women. Natural selection.
