Aight guys i need some opinions here, i am overclocked right now, 3800+ 2.4GHZ 10x, ht 3x, 1.5- 1.6 CPU volt, i am running a Thermaltake CL-P0075 (same HSF that comes with the 4800+ w/heatpipes) below is my current temps:

Idle: 42 degrees

Prime 95 both cores full load: 65degrees

Half load (burning dvd, converting dvd (clonecvd),internet, 3x flashfxp transfers, gaim etc) 47 degrees)

So you guys think those temps are ok?

Thanks!

65C is well within AMD's spec, but that's too high for me personally. I know a lot of people on AT will agree with me on that too. I wouldn't go above 1.55v on the vcore either. Personally, I would try to keep the temps under 55C.

Yeah...i hear ya, thanks for the input...its running fine now, but it only gets up to 65degrees when both cores are under 100% load....i am gonna play around with some settings and try to get the vcore down alittle.

the only reason i went to 1.60 on vcore was because it was the only voltage to keep the sytem stable. any lower and system wouldnt prime, plus i think the epox board reports higher than it actually is....i guess i'll back the speeds back down to 2350 for now to bring the vcore down.

mixman nice overclock....i backed my timings down, 2360x10 vcore is 1.5-1.55 temps are fine, primeed max temp is 55ish, idle is 45ish, wish i could hit that 2400 but just gets lil hot for my tastes plus the vcore gets really high...1.65-1.67 ran at that perfect, no probs just lil high...
