They're called the "confabulator" or "confab" for short. I'm not sure where the name originated, but I am positive that's the technical term.

"Battery Removal Strap" in technical terms. :)

Why do you ask? Did you break the strap and are now requesting replacement under warranty or something? :confused:

its funny when they have the strap half hanging out of the incorrectly installed battery cover. :D
