that may be a S-video connector.. either out or in.. probably out

Its a s-video out connector used to plug the vid output into a tv.

it's a S-video output..
you can display your monitor on a TV that
has an S-video input..
You can use it as a cheap alternative way
to watch DVD if you dont have a real DVD player..
But the resolution for a TV is alot less than
for t monitor so, I would not suggest using
a TV as a monitor.. just occassional or for
surfing on the internet.. but not for spending
alot of time infront of it doing word processing..

you don't have to use specifically the cable that came with the card.. a lot of video cards have the same thing. A lot of times the cards will come with an S-Video to RCA adapter.
