What's that old text based adventure game?

Not totally text based like a MUD, but text based as in you type in commands like 'go left' and you see the character move.

It was for the PC, EGA or maybe VGA graphics, and it ran on a 386 or 486 PC. You started in a jungle next to a crashed plane and there was a ravine or a cliff you had to get some rope to cross, and an elephant that took up most of the screen...

Any clues?

That's what I was going to say, but he mentioned graphics so I think it's probably some old Sierra Adventure game.

I wonder if they have any of those online?
I think all of Zork was released online some years ago at no cost.
