whats TCP port 135 used for??

im using zonealarm the free one, on my dialup, and it looks like someone keeps tyring to connect to my 135 port. it blocks no worry but still.

the source DNS is my ISP's server is what it shows.

i also keep getting pinged like crazy, get blocked but still.

Lots of infected people out their with worms trying to propogate without them even knowing. As long as you have it blocked, don't sweat it.
