What's some useful stuff to keep in the car?

Here's what I got in mine


Tire changing tools (came w/ the car)
First aid kit (cale w/ the car)
Tissues
Electronic tire pressure monitor
EZ pass
Spare change (for parking meters)
Detailed western connictucut map
US road atlas

That's about it. I have friends, however, who keep all their belongings in the car.
 
This sure isn't as important as flares and a fire extinguisher, but I always keep a pair of rubber gloves in the trunk.
I only ever seem to get flats when I'm dressed up and heading to a wedding, funeral or Christening.
 
i have a bottle of water, a granola bar, a space blanket and a normal blanket, tire pressure gauges and fix-a-flat stuff, plus flat tire tools, flares, and jumpers. also a few buck in quarters for emergancy tolls or calls if i forget my cell or it doesn't work.
