What's so amazing about Asian cell phones?

Check out the NTT DoCoMo site, look at the features their phones have that ours lack, and then come and tell me if you don't understand.

Almost makes me wish DoCoMo would start operating in the US.

Eh. The only thing I see that's really new is better cameras (3MP+) and video chat.

I like the Motorola Ming... i just wish it had Wifi on it, that would have been the perfect phone.

My friend has it, I don't understand how people can use touchscreen phones (it takes forever to dial a number!). The phone overall is really nice thuogh.

Yeah, when I was in Shanghai I could have sworn some girl was video chatting with her friend. Just looking at her friend, who was looking right back w/ full motion audio/video. At least I could've sworn she was video chatting. I was blown away.

yeah that would cost probably 20 bucks a minute in the US and you'd have to prepay for 200 minutes at a time oh and the minutes expire in 7 days. Its called straight up greed.

My friend from Korea had a phone with 4gb HD, 5 mp camera with 3x optical zoom, mp3 player, bluetooth, wifi, etc. and it was thin. Amazing. Can't remember the brand.

aren't they already using 3g phones with near broadband connections over there?

when are 3g phones gonna hit the US market?
