What's Out There?

Sup guys, I just have a few questions that are starting to bother me.

Did you ever wonder what is out there in space. There are so many galaxies, there has to be other life. I am not sure how we would ever get there though. We are 1000's of light years away. And, the universe is rapidly expanding at a rate faster than we can travel. How does it go on for infinity. There has to be a stop somewhere. What was there before the universe was created.

We all know about Roswell and all that. Is it possible that aliens actually have visited Earth before. Or, maybe even the government knows about it.

What happens after death. Do you believe in a higher being. Billions of people have died, where would they all go. Does this apply to every lifeform. Cats, dogs, fish, etc.

Chances are you have seen an episode of ghosthunters on sci-fi. Where do ghosts come into play. IN one episode a guy got pushed and knocked out, but no one was around him. A dead boy asked if he could play on a tape recorder they left in an attic. A lot of other freak experiences. Maybe there are several ghosts watching me type this right now.

I could rant about stuff like this forever. I don't want to make this too long of a read though, so I will just stop here. I am interested as to hearing your reactions on this.

I am starting to think the universe is teaming with life of one sort or another, however the chances of them having visited us or even being able to are well, astronomical. And I'd add that prolly something like 99.9% of all life in the universe is most likely microbial.

Alien life must exist, but chances are they haven't come here.

Some of your questions consume my mind almost every day. I forever wonder about the size of the universe and what's out there. I'm not too big on extra terrestrial life - I don't believe we would ever come across them simply because of both the scale of the universe and the extremely low density in the distribution of the stars and galaxies.

But is the universe infinite? I don't know. I do hope to one day have a career in cosmology so I can spend my days pondering these very questions.

and within each nucleus in our universe, there exists an infinite amount of sub-universes. and this hierarchy can expand and roll up infinite times

I used to think something similiar when I was a kid. The planets are electrons, and the star is the nucleus, and the galaxy is a molecule, and a group of galaxies, an element of some sort, or an organ of something larger. Yeah it breaks down on the bigger scales. Then somewhere it is just something in a greater universe; a speck of dust, or an eyelash, or something.

What is out there? Basically a whole lot of nothing. Of course there a lot of life and most likely manyy intelligent forms that we will most likely never come in contact with.

The universe is not infinite an "nothing" or several "nothings" is/are outside of it.

Dead people, dogs, and fish cease to exist at death. There are no ghost. I say that having seen stuff that would convince most people otherwise...........
