So in California, gay marriage and marijuana are both legal. Bathrooms are open to either gender. Open borders is being rejected in Europe and is as good as rejected in the United States. Continuing to push for open borders will obviously happen but what comes next in the name of progress for progress' sake?

Legal heroine? Sex change operations for minors? It's not like they can just stop.

The Culture War might have been won, but the War of Languages (ie PCism) and the March of Globalism both took big hits in the last year.

Seems like the obvious new focus.

The political correctness cancer continues to spread and the libs / SJW's are fully invested in the battle. Silencing any opposition, making sure nobody deviates from leftist approved thought, shouting down anyone who might disagree etc.

Well if I were the Liberal in Chief it would involve

1] 80% inheritance tax for fortunes over 50 million dollars
2] A progressive income tax on the 1% ers that absolutely ensured they were paying a substantially higher percentage than the middle class
3] New laws that would prevent the uber-wealthy from purchasing the candidates on both sides

What's next for liberal democracy when it is under assault from demagogues?

As John Locke wrote,
"freedom of men under government is, to have standing rule to live by, common to every one of that society, and made by the legislative power erected in it; a liberty to follow my own will on all things, where the time prescribes not; and not to be subject to the inconstant, uncertain, unknown, arbitrary will of another man"

With who is in charge next, it seems like we should worry more about the foundation instead of concern trolling political enemies.

More lies, deceit and propaganda is my bet. In other words no big changes at all, just liberal business as usual.

Theres a hell of a lot of whinging about it considering they are "silencing any opposition". They probably need to work a bit harder on that.

lol, have you fucking listened to, read, and watched the shit coming from your president-elect liar-in chief?

Are you yet upset with yourself that he has broken every single promise to "drain the swamp"?

How many months before you have the balls to finally admit to yourself that you were wrong about every single thing that Angry Orange Littlefingers promised to be?

Putin is the darling of many conservatives, perhaps we should take a page out of his book?

Detachment and separation from the red states so the blue states can finally create their utopia without interference. It's pretty obvious the moral imperatives of both sides are in near complete and utter opposition and that many votes nowadays are strictly an exercise in negative partisanship of keeping the "evil" other side out of power.
