what's next for ipod?

so if you read my last post, i was thinking about getting a mac mini, but decided to save my money for other toys. one possible alternative is an ipod. i've had an archos gmini 400 for years and really like it, but the battery is almost dead, the interface is clunky, and the screen is small. comparing the ipod to the creative zen, i think the ipod wins basedo on smaller size and a slicker ui. anyway, before i take the plunge, i'm wondering what new features the next ipod might have, that i should wait for. i think an ipod with a full body touch screen (basically an iphone minus the phone) would be pretty slick. so, anybody here any rumors about what's next, and when?

pretty much what you said, don't expect it to drop before the iPhone hits though. expect it in august of 07
