ok, so intel prescotts on socket 775 are set to launch later this month. after all these reports about it being so hot that you'll need a jet fan to cool it off, and that it has been having some problems with the socket and all this plus its still slower than a northwood processor at the same clock speed. So is prescott still worth getting anymore? Whats the outlook at these chips now?
 
In my opinion prescott was a complete waste of time. Since intel wants to futher its mobile line and put them into desktops, prescott is just a worthless piece of crap. Go northwoods.
