What's my HTPC doing with 24fps content?

I have a few blu-ray movies ripped to mkv. Viewing the properties it shows the video as 23.98 fps. I have my video card outputting in 1080p @ 60hz. I'm assuming the htpc is sending the output as 24 fps right?

If so, I remember reading that the Panny G10's can't handle 24p content correctly and will flicker. However I notice no flickering though. Also how does the refresh rate of 60hz come into play? Or does it not?

Your htpc is applying 3:2 pulldown to the 23.976fps content and outputting it at 60 hz (which should be 59.94hz anyway). Ideally you want 23.976hz output with 23.976fps content.
